Yes, we can stain or colourmatch your shelves to coordinate with your furniture, walls or other interior finishes. Colour matching is best achieved if a sample of the product is available and can be affected by number of factors including the age of the piece, finish and availability of a similar timber and how true the colours appear in an image. If you email a photo to us, we will provide advice on the best selection to suit your home. We are able to custom stain timber and send a physical sample to you for approval.How thick are your floating shelves?
Our Lunar, Grace and Linear wall shelves are available in 30mm and 40mm thickness. Please contact us if you require thicker than 40mm.Can you custom make a floating shelf for me?
Yes. We frequently make custom sizes to suit specific spaces. Simply email us dimensions and we will provide a custom quote.Are custom floating shelves more expensive?
Shelves that are wider than 200mm may require a join in which case they may be priced higher due to the additional timber and labour required.How do I order a custom size shelf?

Please allow 3-4 weeks, although we frequently dispatch sooner than this.Are your timber shelves made from solid timber?
Yes. We only use solid timber for our floating timber shelves.Can the shelves be painted?
We can supply your shelf raw for you to paint/stain/oil if required. Please make a note at the checkout.
We can also have floating shelves professionally painted with a durable two-pack system in any colour, please email us for prices and to confirm colour selection.Do you have samples?
We have a range of samples available to view in our Melbourne studio by appointment, or to purchase online.Can I see a floating shelf in person?
Our floating timber shelves are available to view in person in our Melbourne showroom. We have large range of floating timber shelves in different timber species and finishes available to view to assist in making the right decision for your shelving.Where is your Studio and Workshop located?

Installation
How do I install floating shelves?
Our wall shelves are designed to be installed by a qualified tradesperson to timber stud walls or masonry walls. If your carpenter/tradesperson. Please note our instructions are a general guide that is designed to be reviewed by a professional to suit your unique floating shelf installation requirements. Our floating shelves are supplied with steel rods that are designed to be securely fixed to timber studs or masonry walls.Can I install floating shelves myself?
We only recommend installation by a qualified tradesperson. Your tradesperson will be able to advise on the most suitable installation method for your unique circumstances and is responsible for ensuring correct, secure and safe installation.Is my shelf supplied with a mounting bracket or install hardware?
Our floating timber shelves are supplied with steel rods as the preferred method of installation, no other brackets are required if this method is used.Can you pre-drill shelf support holes?
Yes. Please email us dimensions of the shelf support holes and we will pre-drill shelf support holes free of charge. If you need assistance determining where shelf support holes are to be placed please contact us.Why aren't shelf support holes pre-drilled on every shelf?
The location and method of installation varies widely. Shelves are designed to be securely fixed to timber studs or appropriately in masonry walls which requires site measuring. We do offer to pre-drill shelf support holes free of charge when dimensions are supplied.Why do I need a tradesperson to install my shelf?
A qualified tradesperson should have the required tools and skills to install a floating timber shelf and assess the most suitable method of installation for your circumstances.Can you recommend a carpenter to install my floating timber shelf?

We recommend consulting a qualified tradesperson prior to purchase to evaluate your install location. In some cases additional supports will need to be added within the wall prior to installation. We can work with your installer to create a suitable option for steel studs if needed.Can you make a custom floating shelf with a custom finish?
Our shelves are made to order which means we can offer endless customisation. If you would like a rustic floating shelf, beach/boho floating shelf or are trying to match a mid century modern style for your wall shelving, let us know and we can discuss custom finishes such as paint colour matching, gloss levels and selecting the right piece of timber to suit your look.

Yes. We will contact you when your floating timber shelf is ready to collect from our Melbourne Showroom.How long does delivery take?
We use a network of couriers to deliver within the fastest timeframe possible. Please note there may be delays due to the added pressure on the courier network due to COVID-19 or peak times.Do I need to be home for delivery?
No, our deliveries have Authority to Leave the package at the front door of your property. If this is not suitable or you would like to request signature on delivery only or provide any other delivery instructions please make a note at the checkout or contact us after placing your order.How much is delivery of floating shelves?
Flat Rate Metro Delivery to Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Adelaide is available.
$55.00 Flat Rate Delivery for all sizes between 300 - 1400mm.
$95.00 Flat Rate Delivery for sizes 1500 - 1900mm.
$149.00 Flat Rate Delivery for all sizes between 2000 - 3000mm.
Please contact us to confirm delivery outside of these Metro areas, we try to keep delivery fees as low as possible.
Maintenance
How do I care for my shelf?
We supply a comprehensive Care Guide with each floating timber shelf. Our shelves are easy to care for and require minimal maintenance when cared for correctly.What should I clean my shelf with?
We recommend Osmo Interior Spray Cleaner as it will nourish the timber with use. Please contact us if you would like to purchase.
Dust and particles should be gently removed with a soft cloth prior to cleaning.
Please do not use household cleaners, abrasive sponges or cleaning products and harsh chemicals as you may damage the finish.
Care should be taken when placing or moving objects to avoid scratching or damaging the surface.
